Kathmandu, November 28

There will be no electricity in different parts of Kathmandu and Lalitpur districts on Monday and Tuesday, Nepal Electricity Authority informed.

NEA’s Lagankhel distribution centre said power supply will come to a halt in Mangalbazaar, Chyasal and Prayagpokhari.

The disruption will occur from 10 am till 4 pm on Monday and Tuesday, NEA informed. It added that supply disruption may occur beyond the schedule also.

This is because NEA is improving the 11-KV transmission line, with assistance from Asian Development Bank.

NEA informed that there will be no power in different places along the Kalanki-Nagdhunga road, Kathmandu, on Monday.

Power supply will come to a halt from 9 am till 5 pm at Dhungeadda, New Naikap, Balambu, Gurjudhara and Dobato along the Kalanki-Syuchatar road.

NEA said power supply disruption will occur because it will have to shift components of power supply system due to expansion of the Kalanki-Nagdhunga road.
