Kathmandu, October 5
The government has made public the names of taxpayers who won cash prizes in the taxpayer incentive gift program for purchases made from September 17 to October 1.
The draw for the program was held on October 2. This time, the Rs 1 million cash prize went to Lal Babu Sah Kanu, who won it after buying goods worth Rs 21,000.
Taxpayers winning Rs 100,000 are Kumari Draupadi Bhatt, Khushbu Gurung/Prakash Rai, Dinesh Kumar Chaudhary, Prem Prasad Sapkota, Apsara Basnet Thapa, Subas Chauhan, Ishwari Karki, Sangita Kumari Khatiwada, Rajesh Sharma, Amir Sadula, Jenkumar Tamang and Santoshsing Magar.
Winners must apply with their bills at the nearest Inland Revenue Office by October 17.
