
Kathmandu, April 2
Sudan Kirati, a member of the Presidential Council of the Pragatisheel Loktantrik Party (Pralopa) and a former minister, has resigned from his position.
He submitted his resignation letter during a meeting of the Presidential Council held on Wednesday.
Party sources have confirmed that Kirati has stepped down from his post; however, his resignation is yet to be approved.
Kirati had joined Pralopa after leaving the CPN (Maoist Centre) following its unification with other parties, including the CPN (Unified Socialist).
