Nepali Congress senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel has told the government to solve the problem created by Netral Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’-led Maoist group through talks.
The opposition leader’s statement comes three days after the party executed blasts in different places of the capital, killing four persons. The government has banned the party’s activities citing they promoted terrorism.
Addressing a function organised in Doti district headquarters of farwestern Nepal on Tuesday, Paudel said there was no alternative to solving the crisis through talks.
“How was the Biplav group born? Form where? And how?” he said, “The government should understand these issues and take initiatives for a solution.”
He also appealed to the rebel group to come to the negotiation table.
