Kathmandu, August 4
The United States has provided the Nepal Army a Skytruck and an air ambulance.
At a program organized on Thursday morning at the Army Headquarters, U.S. Ambassador to Nepal Dean Thompson handed over the Skytruck and the air ambulance to Chief of Army Staff Ashok Raj Sigdel.
Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba and Defense Minister Manbir Rai were also present at the handover ceremony.
According to the Nepal Army, the air ambulance will be used for rescuing the injured or sick, while the Skytruck will be used for transporting goods.
