Kathmandu, October 30
The price of silver increased while gold remained stable on Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold was traded at Rs 236,300 per tola, the same as the previous day.
Silver, however, rose by Rs 15 per tola, reaching Rs 2,980 per tola compared to Wednesday’s Rs 2,965.
The rise follows the US Federal Reserve’s decision on Wednesday to cut the federal funds rate by 0.25 percentage points, which typically puts upward pressure on gold and silver prices.
