The Tansen-Butwal section of the Siddhartha Highway, which had been blocked after a dry landslide, is now operating again.
The highway had been completely blocked when a landslide fell near the Siddhababa tunnel road in Tinau Rural Municipality-3 around 7:30 am on Wednesday.
Dilip Bhattarai, an engineer with the tunnel road project, said vehicles have now started moving on the highway after the landslide was cleared.
Since the dry landslide kept falling continuously since morning, clearing it had been difficult.
