Kathmandu, September 25
The Siddhartha Highway has been blocked after a landslide following continuous rainfall.
The highway was completely closed after rocks and debris slid down onto the road near the lower Siddhababa Temple in Tinau Rural Municipality-3, Palpa.
Similarly, the road between Charchare and Jordhara in Tinau Rural Municipality-5, also along the Siddhartha Highway, has been blocked by a landslide caused by the rain.
According to police, rural road networks in Palpa have also been damaged by landslides.
