Kathmandu, July 11
A day after media reported about the complaint filed by actress Shilpa Pokharel against her husband and director Chhabi Ojha, charing him of domestic violence, police intervened and made two sign an agreement with each other.
As Pokharel filed a complaint demanding security, the Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu summoned both the sides and made an agreement there on Thursday.
During the meeting, Ojha apologised to Pokharel and said he would not pose threats to her security, according to DSP Hobindra Bogati.
It has been learned that Pokharel had demanded that Ojha consented for the divorce. However, the issue was not discussed in the meeting today.
“With the agreement, the complaint has been irrelevant,” according to him.
It is not clear if the two are staying together again.
