Kathmandu, August 13
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba says he has already told his followers, including his secretariat members, not to praise him by posting videos on social media.
Speaking in his party meeting on Friday, Deuba, referring to the videos that are making the rounds on social media where users have been stating what they like about Deuba, asked people not to do so.
This comes after his own party leader Dhanar Raj Gurung criticised Deuba for letting this go on.
“People were singing ‘I love you, KP’. But, that didn’t last long and look where he is now,” says Gurung during the meeting. “I think it is best that you stop this and focus on doing your job.”
Stopping Gurung midway, Deuba assured that he had asked people to stop making such videos.
After he became the Prime Minister, his secretariat allegedly started posting videos of people telling what they like about Deuba.
