SEE results likely to be published in late June

NEB see certificate - SEE exam

Kathmandu, June 18

The National Examination Board is preparing to publish the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) results in the third week of Asar (late June), according to officials.

As per the original schedule, the results were expected to be released in the first week of Asar. However, a 29-day-long protest by teachers—starting from Chaitra 20, 2081 BS—delayed the answer sheet evaluation process, leading to the postponement of the result date.

“Teachers were on strike for 29 days, and an additional two days were lost in travel time. The checking started late. So, it’s not possible to publish the results before the third week,” said Exam Controller Dr Ganesh Prasad Bhattarai.

He mentioned that the evaluation process is now in its final phase.

“We have deployed staff to work from morning till evening. Some answer sheets are still being checked. Once the evaluation is completed, we’ll proceed with data entry and verification to ensure there are no errors before publishing the results,” he added.

This year’s SEE exams were held starting from Chaitra 7, 2081 BS. A total of 499,183 students appeared for the exams—431,466 under the regular category and 67,715 under the grade improvement category.
