Along with Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, Samsung launched another phone in their popular A series: Samsung Galaxy A34 5G.
The phone has some differences from its big brother: Galaxy A54 5G. Being a little bit cheaper, the phone has fewer specifications and features than Galaxy A54 5G. But overall, the phone is set to provide maximum performance in the given specs and dominate in the price range with other smartphones in the Nepali market.

Design and display
Samsung A34 5G has a very similar design to Samsung Galaxy A54 5G, but the screen size differs. A54 5G has a 6.4-inch display whereas A34 5G has a 6.6-inch display. Galaxy A34 5G front display has a drop-notch front camera placement. It has a plastic frame and a plastic back, which is shiny and gives a premium look. Both the A54 5G and A34 5G take design inspiration from the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, the flagship series from Samsung for this year.
The 6.6-inch display on Galaxy A34 5G is a SUPER AMOLED 120Hz display which has a resolution of FHD+ 1080 X 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and IP67 dust/water resistant to keep the phone protected from drop, dust and water respectively.
Performance and storage
Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 (6nm) chipset with an Octa-core CPU and a Mali-G68 GPU to handle the graphics. The OS is the same as Galaxy A54 5G, which is OneUI 5.1 based on Andriod 13. The phone will support most of the day-to-day tasks like social media, light gaming, video streaming, calls and messaging with no problem at all.
The RAM available is only one, which is 8GB, on the Galaxy A34 5G. The storage includes 128GB of internal storage and can be expanded up to 1TB using a MicroSD card from the hybrid sim and SD card slot on top of the phone.
Camera
Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has a triple camera setup aligned on a straight line which looks very nice. The triple camera setup includes a primary camera of 48MP, an ultra-wide camera of 8MP and a 5MP macro camera. The rear camera has OIS for better stabilization and can record UHD video of 4K resolution at 30fps.
The front camera includes a 13MP selfie camera which does not include an OIS but can also record 4K videos at 30fps.
Battery and others
Samsung Galaxy A34 5G has a 5000mAh non-removable typical battery which can be powered through a 25W wired charger. The port for charging and sharing files is a standard type-C cable. The sensors on the phone include a fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro sensor, compass and a virtual proximity sensor. It has a stereo speaker on the bottom and top of the phone which gives the users more enhanced sound quality while playing games or watching videos and calls.
The colours on the phone are lime, silver, graphite and violet. The exciting colour options on Samsung Galaxy A34 5G make the phone quite unique and a competitor on the market.
