The riders have been organising peaceful protests and other demonstration programmes under the foundation’s call, seeking policy reforms in the digital ride-hailing sector and better working conditions.
The protesters are demanding a scientific and fair fare structure, reasonable remuneration for drivers and riders, and an end to what they describe as labour exploitation.
They are also pressing the authorities to introduce policy reforms for the digital ride-hailing sector and ensure adequate protection and fair pay for those working in the industry.
As part of Tuesday’s protest, riders also organised a motorbike rally.
