Doti, July 11
Rains continuing since Sunday night have brought vehicular movement to a halt along a section of the KI Singh Highway.
The roughly 11-km Kalagad-Tillati road stretch in Doti district has remained shut due to the rains, Doti police informed.
Superintendent of Police Dilli Raj Bista informed that rain-triggered landslides have shut the highway section.
Police personnel and locals are doing the necessary repair work by mobilising a dozer, Bista informed.
Vehicles have stuck along the highway that connects Bajura with Dhangadhi of Kaillali via Doti and Achham districts. With rains continuing, there are fears that the artery may remain shut for some time.
