Province 5 Assembly member Krishnaa KC ‘Namuna’ has contracted Covid-19.
KC, a permanent resident of Rapti Sonari rural municipality-9 of Banke, informed the public about the infection on her Facebook page last night. She has also urged people who had come into her contact to isolate themselves and get tested for the virus.
On Saturday night, a lab of Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj had confirmed 20 new cases including seven women. KC was one of them.
Recently, KC had attended various functions in Narainapur of her constituency, where many Covid-19 cases exist.
Meanwhile, Nepalgunj sub-metropolitan city in Banke has been sealed off for the next three days so as to control the infection outbreak in the city.
