Kathmandu, September 22
Military officers who were recently promoted have been presented with their rank insignia.
Nepal Army Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel presented the insignia to Sobendra Singh Mahat and Prakash Thapa, who were promoted from brigadier general to major general on September 15, at the Nepal Army Headquarters in Bhadrakali.
Likewise, Madan Jung Rana, who was promoted from colonel to brigadier general, and Bharat Lal Shrestha, who was promoted from technical colonel to brigadier general, were also presented with their rank insignia.
