Kathmandu, July 12

The government has formed a committee to look into the Manang Air helicopter crash that occurred on Tuesday in Solukhumbu district.

The meeting of the Council of Ministers convened at the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar on Tuesday decided to form a committee to investigate the crash.

Six people, including five Mexicans and a Nepali pilot, died after the Manang Air helicopter crashed in Lamjura Pass in Solukhumbu on Tuesday.

The committee is being led by Buddhisagar Lamichhane, joint-secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation.
