Prime Minister Oli’s advisors to resign en masse

Kathmandu, November 9

Key members of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’ secretariat are going to resign en masse, sources close to the PM say.

PM Oli’s political advisor Bishnu Rimal, foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai, press advisor Kundan Aryal and IT advisor Asgar Ali will tender their resignation, effective November 17, sources said.

“The resignation will help the Prime Minister reshuffle his cabinet,” a source said adding that the advisors could return if the Prime Minister decides to re-appoint them.
