Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is leaving for his home district Dadeldhura to give a push to his Nepali Congress party’s election campaign in Province 7.

Deuba will return to Kathmandu only after casting his vote in Ganyapadhura Rural Municipality-1 of the district on June 28, according to Nepal Press Union President, Badri Sigdel.

Before the polls, Deuba will address some programmes organised by the party in various districts of Province 7.

In particular, he will stay focused on Kailali and Dadeldhura districts as the party’s selection of candidates for local levels of these districts had been protested from within the party.

He had won Constituent Assembly elections from these two districts in 2013.
