PM Oli to celebrate birthday at his birthplace in Tehrathum next week

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to celebrate his birthday at his birthplace in Iwa of Aathrai rural municipality in Tehrathum district coming Sunday.

”The prime minister will celebrate his birthday in Tehrathum this year,” informs Laxman Tiwari, the Province 1 chairperson of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and a member of the Provincial Assembly.

All necessary preparations by the NCP, people’s representatives and district security team are made to welcome the PM, he says, adding Oli will come to the district on a helicopter.

According to Tiwari, a brief low-key birthday ceremony will be held at PM’S ancestral home. PM Oli was Born on February 23, 1952. His family migrated to Jhapa in 1967.

Oli’s family had already sold the property to someone else, but PM Oli repurchased it in October 2015.
