Kathmandu, June 18
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is hosting a press conference late afternoon on Tuesday after he was barred from addressing the House of Representatives.
Earlier, PM Oli’s plan to inform the House about his recent Europe trip and the government’s response to contemporary political controversies had failed as the main opposition Nepali Congress obstructed the House.
The Prime Minister’s secretariat informs that journalists have been invited to attend the meeting at 5 pm at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singhadarbar.
It is expected that Prime Minister Oli will also speak about the government’s plan to address recent protests against the Guthi Bill registered in Parliament.
Upon his arrival from the trip on Sunday, Oli had said the government would make necessary corrections to the bill.
