Pokhara University has launched a PhD-level study programme in engineering for the first time.
The university’s Faculty of Science and Technology has called for applications for PhDs in Civil Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
The university is seeking applications from qualified candidates who have an interest in research and a strong academic background.
Applications can be submitted until August 26.
The PhD entrance examination will be held on August 29 from 11 am to 1 pm at Pokhara University’s School of Engineering, Dhungepatan, Kaski.
The university says the date for personal interviews will be announced on the day of the entrance exam itself.
The application fee for the PhD programme has been set at 3,000 rupees. Interested candidates can apply through Pokhara University’s Faculty of Science and Technology.
