Kathmandu, September 2
Emergency relief supplies sent by a US-based organisation for victims of the Rasuwa floods have arrived in Nepal.
More than 40 tonnes of emergency relief materials sent by Samaritan’s Purse have arrived in Kathmandu.
The supplies include enough water filters, tarpaulins, blankets, hygiene kits and solar lights to assist 2,600 families through local organisations working in flood-affected areas.
The US Embassy said it is also working closely with the Government of Nepal and various partner organisations to provide life-saving assistance based on Nepal’s needs.
