Manhari, June 17
One person has died due to lightning in Raksirang Rural Municipality-2 Thumki of Makwanpur.
Spokesperson of District Police Office Makwanpur and DSP Lakshmi Bhandari informed that 45-year-old Bir Bahadur Praja was struck by lightning while he was sleeping at home this morning.
Spokesperson Bhandari said that he was injured due to lightning and was taken to Hetaunda Hospital. The doctors declared him dead. According to him, the body of the deceased has been kept in the hospital.
Spokesman Bhandari said that the team of police assistant inspector Gaurav Bista from Chainpur went to the police station at Raksirang to further investigate the incident.
