Chitwan, March 27
One person died when two others sustained injuries in a motorcycle accident in Chormara, Madhyabindu municipality-7 of Nawalpur district on Friday morning.
The victim has been identified as Bhoj Mahadur Mahato (28), a resident of the same place. Mahato was riding pillion on the motorbike (Na 43 Pa 298) that crashed on its way towards Amrasa from local Chormara.
Seriously injured in the incident, Mahato was rushed to the Purano Medical College in neighbouring Chitwan, when he died in the course of treatment.
Two other injured are Buddhi Ram Mahato (3) and Yam Bahadur Paudel (42). Paudel was riding the bike whereas Mahato duo were riding pillion. Police suspect that Paudel lost his control over the bike as two people were riding pillion.
Further investigation is underway.
