Kathmandu, October 3
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s three advisors have contracted Covid-19 on Friday.
Oli’s chief political advisor Bishnu Rimal, foreign affairs advisor Rajan Bhattarai, and press advisor Surya Thapa have tested positive for coronavirus.
Likewise, his principal private secretary Indra Prasad Bhandari also tested positive.
They have given his swab samples for a test on Friday and tested positive today.
Thapa says some drivers working for the secretariat also tested positive for the virus.
Meanwhile, 67 security personnel guarding the PM’s residence in Baluwatar have also contracted the disease today. It has been learned that those infected do not include the guards close to the prime minister.
