Two matches and three teams remain in the Siddhartha Bank Nepal Premier League (NPL) Cricket 2025. Among the three, Sudurpaschim Royals have already secured their place in the final. The second finalist will be decided today.
The second qualifier is taking place today, where Biratnagar Kings and Lumbini Lions will face each other. The match starts at 4 PM at the TU Cricket Ground. The winner will book a place in the final against Sudurpaschim, while the losing team will finish third.
Biratnagar, after losing to Sudurpaschim in the first qualifier, are playing their second chance. On the other hand, Lumbini secured their spot in the second qualifier by defeating Kathmandu Gorkhas in Wednesday’s eliminator.
Lumbini will be playing another match within 24 hours. They will face Biratnagar, a team looking to bounce back from defeat. In this knockout match, the team that can handle the pressure better is sure to win. Lumbini captain Rohit Paudel has echoed the same sentiment.
