NEPSE: Shares trading volume increased, NEPSE remained mostly stable

On Wednesday, while the stock market index NEPSE remained mostly stable, the turnover increased. Rs 2.5 billion securities were traded the previous day, and Rs 2.53 billion were traded today.

It has been seen that the trading amount has increased as the founder share turnover of Nepal Reinsurance Company increased. The turnover of the company was Rs 633,000,000.

The NEPSE index increased by only 0.15 points to 1969.17 points. A total of 113 companies increased in value, 117 decreased while 15 remained stable.

Looking at the index, the finance group increased the most by 2.44 per cent. Sectors like Banking increased by 0.21 per cent and manufacturing group by 0.75 per cent.

However, Business decreased by 0.12 per cent, others by 0.09 per cent, Non-Life Insurance by 0.43, Microfinance by 0.05, Life Insurance by 0.40, Hydropower by 0.20, Investment by 0.28, Hotel & Tourism by 0.44 and Development Bank Group by 0.13 per cent.

The price of Pokhara Finance increased the most by 10 per cent. The prices of Gurans Microfinance rose by 8.8 per cent, Support Microfinance by 7.5 per cent, Nepal Finance by 5.5 per cent, Narayani Bikas Bank by 4.4 per cent, Multipurpose Finance by 4.1 per cent and Bottlers Nepal Balaju by 4 per cent.

The price of Mykhola Hydropower decreased the most by 7.8 per cent. The value of Mahila Microfinance decreased by 3.8 per cent and River Falls Power by 3.3 per cent. In terms of transactions, after Nepal Reinsurance Founder, Pokhara Finance, Gorkha’s Finance, Nepal Finance and NIC Asia Bank were in the front respectively.
