Nepal facing Canada in WCL2 Today

Kathmandu, September 22

Nepal will face Canada in the ICC Men’s World Cup League 2 currently underway in Canada. The match is scheduled to be held this evening at the Maple Leaf North-West ground in King City.

This will be the second time Nepal faces Canada in the League, following a loss in their previous encounter on September 16, where host Canada defeated Nepal by 103 runs.

So far, Nepal has accumulated only 2 points, having won just one out of the six matches played in the League. Currently, Nepal stands in 7th position on the points table. Meanwhile, Canada is in the second position, having collected 12 points from 10 matches.

In their second match of the League in Canada, Nepal lost to Oman by 1 run on September 18.

The Nepali national men’s cricket team, led by all-rounder Rohit Paudel, includes Sompal Kami, Aarif Sheikh, Dipendra Singh Airee, Kushal Bhurtel, Karan KC, Lalit Rajbansi, Sandeep Lamichhane, Anil Shah, Aasif Sheikh, Bhim Sharki, Rijan Dhakal, Kushal Malla, Arjun Saud, Dev Khanal, and Gulshan Jha.
