One more Nepali has died in the Russia-Ukraine war.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Kundan Nagal, who enlisted in the Russian Army, died on the battlefield.

Following this, the Russian Ambassador to Nepal has once again been formally requested to repatriate the bodies of deceased Nepali individuals enlisted in the Russian Army. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also asked the Russian government to compensate the families of the deceased and the injured.

A press release issued on Wednesday has once again asked Russia not to recruit Nepali citizens into its military forces and has asked it to repatriate all Nepali nationals currently serving in the army. The Ministry has also asked for the total number of Nepali enlisted in the Russian Army and those who have sustained injuries in the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war.
