Nepal Covid-19 tally: 99 new cases, 248 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 6

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 271,806 as of Saturday afternoon.

The ministry says 99 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 2,794 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 91,166 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,959 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 267,812 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,035 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 248 people have been discharged whereas no deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
