Nepal Covid-19 tally: 73 new cases, 64 recoveries, 3 death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, March 1

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 274,216 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 73 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,049 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 165,985 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 968 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 270,471 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,777 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 64 people have been discharged whereas three deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
