Kathmandu, April 14
The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 281,564 as of Wednesday afternoon.
The ministry says 580 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.
In this period, 4289 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 325,959 people have been tested in the country.
As of today, 4,056 cases are active.
Of the total cases so far, 274,447 people have achieved recovery whereas 3,061 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 129 people have been discharged whereas three deaths were reported.
Nearly 80 people are quarantined across the country.
