Nepal Covid-19 tally: 160 new cases, 165 recoveries, 2 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 9

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 272,215 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 160 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,309 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 101,059 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,737 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 268,431 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,047 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 165 people have been discharged whereas two deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
