Nepal Covid-19 tally: 159 new cases, 264 recoveries, no deaths reported in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 1

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 271,118 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 159 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,145 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 75,152 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 2,489 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 266,600 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,029 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 264 people have been discharged whereas no deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
