Nepal Covid-19 tally: 130 new cases, 194 recoveries, 7 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 8

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 272,055 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 130 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,333 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 96,750 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,744 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 268,266 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,045 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 194 people have been discharged whereas seven deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
