Nepal Covid-19 tally: 109 new cases, 350 recoveries, 2 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, January 30

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 270,854 as of Saturday afternoon.

The ministry says 109 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,618 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 67,699 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 2,779 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 266,048 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,027 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 350 people have been discharged whereas two deaths have been reported. 

Over 100 people are quarantined across the country.
