Nepal Covid-19 tally: 105 new cases, 99 recoveries, no death in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 16

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 272,945 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 105 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,360 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 123,951 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,587 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 269,303 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,055 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 99 people have recovered whereas no death was reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.
