Nepal Covid-19 tally: 105 new cases, 288 recoveries, 2 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, January 31

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 270,959 as of Sunday afternoon.

The ministry says 105 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,308 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 71,007 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 2,594 cases are active. The recovery rate is 98.3 percent.

Of the total cases so far, 266,336 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,029 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 288 people have been discharged whereas two deaths have been reported. 

Over 100 people are quarantined across the country.
