Kathmandu, December 15
Nepal’s national flag carrier NAC has decided to fly to Guangzhou in China and Narita, Tokyo in Japan from March.
According to the airline, flights to Narita will be launched in the first week of March while flights to Guangzhou will commence from the second week of the month. The company is yet to finalise a date for the two launches aimed at boosting tourist arrivals during the Visit Nepal Year.
A recent meeting of the corporation’s board made the decision, informed spokesperson Sulekh Mishra. He added that the two new destinations will increase flight hours for the airline’s two A-320s and A-330s which currently fly to Osaka, New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Doha, and Hong Kong
