A woman died after being hit by a pick-up truck in Kohalpur in Banke on Saturday night.
Usha Gurung, a resident of Kohalpur municipality-11, died when she was hit by a pick-up truck (Ba 1 Nya 2438) which was going to Kohalpur from Nepalgunj, said DSP Ain Bahadur Malla.
According to Malla, Gurung died on the spot. The hit-and-run van was taken into custody by the police last night.
Malla said the pick-up trick that killed Gurung belonged to Nepal Electricity Authority, Kohalpur.
