Leaders of the ruling party are not preparing for a cabinet reshuffle, says the spokesperson of Nepal Communist Party.
Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who was speaking at a programme in Gorkha on Friday, said that leaders haven’t discussed a reshuffle. The comment comes as reports suggested that Prime Minister Oli was preparing to shuffle his cabinet after facing public criticism on a host of issues.
“I don’t know if the Prime Minister is preparing on his own,” said Shrestha. “All I can say is that the matter has not been discussed in the party.”
The former Maoist leader informed that both the chairs of the party were doing their bit to wrap up the UML-Maoist merger.
