Kathmandu, July 24
Nepali Congress and Rastriya Janata Party have agreed to stop obstructing House proceedings.
The two parties, which had been obstructing proceedings of the House of Representatives a regularly, have registered a motion in Parliament asking the speaker to hold a discussion on the flood and landslides which have affected hundreds of people.
The next meeting of the House will take place on Wednesday at 2 PM. Lawmakers from both the parties will question Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa on the government efforts to rehabilitate people displaced by the natural disasters.
