Itahari, July 14
Property worth over Rs 65 million has been gutted by a massive fire in main Itahari Bazaar-6 in Sunsari on Friday morning.
The fire broke out at 12:30 am following a short-circuit at Yuvraj Karki’s storehouse of marbles.
The fire also spread to Birat Ayurveda’s Patanjali Ayurveda Pharmacy, according to its owner Yogen Khadka.
Human casualty was averted as security guards of the storehouse usually stay outside, and also due to the fact that they immediately called in the fire engines, police and the local residents.
