Rautahat, May 26
A 70-year-old man was shot dead in Rautahat.
The deceased has been identified as Sheikh Taib of Karuniya, Dewahi Gonahi municipality.
Taib’s body was found a kilometre away from his house in the morning. He was at his house until midnight.
The Rautahat District Police Office said he was shot in the head.
Investigations are ongoing, said the police.
Recently, the number of murder cases has increased in Rautahat.
