Kathmandu, March 8
A man killed his wife in Changunarayan Municipality, Bhaktapur on Thursday.
Pabitra Rai, 21, was beaten to death by Santosh Bhujel, 25, around 6.30 pm on Thursday.
District Police Bhaktapur spokesperson Basanta Pathak informed that Rai breathed her last during treatment.
Pathak said, Bhujel, who was drunk, beat his wife until she was unconscious. Rai’s body is at Bhaktapur Hospital for postmortem.
Bhujel has been arrested.
