Bagmati, September 20
One man died in a lightning strike incident in the Bakaiya rural municipality of the Makawanpur district, some kilometres south of Kathmandu, on Monday night.
The victim has been identified as Aaita Singh Bholan (55), a resident of Aahaldanda, Bakaiya-11, according to the Makawanpur District Police Office.
He was at home during the incident.
Meanwhile, an ox belonging to local Bhim Bahadur Tamang also died, according to DSP Tek Bahadur Karki, the District Police Office spokesperson.
