Kathmandu, September 6
Seven houses and animal sheds were damaged after a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall struck Badimalika Municipality in Bajura.
According to the District Police Office, Bajura, continuous rainfall since 8 pm last night triggered a landslide that damaged the houses of Nare Rawal of Kothyara in Badimalika Municipality-8, and Kare Thapa and Dipak BK of Ward No. 9.
The landslide also damaged the animal sheds of Moti Okheda, Dhan Bahadur BK, Jang Okheda and Tule Lohar in Ward No. 9.
Police said food grains, clothing and livestock were damaged when the landslide hit the houses and animal sheds.
