Kathmandu, August 28
Floodwaters triggered by the bursting of a large lake near the confluence of the Chochen Khola and Purepu Tsangpo rivers in China have reached Syafrubesi in Rasuwa.
According to the Flood Forecasting Division, the Bhotekoshi River flood arrived in Syafrubesi at 12:31 pm.
Residents along the banks of the Trishuli River, up to Mugling, have been urged to exercise heightened caution and stay in safe locations until further notice.
