Kathmandu, November 3
Senior Cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Bhagwan Koirala has been appointed chair of Nepal Medical Council, a body that regulates the medical sector in Nepal.
Koirala, who was also in contention for the post of Vice-chancellor of Tribhuvan University, was appointed to the post by a meeting of the Council of Ministers on Sunday, it has been learnt.
